Tigershark Swimmer Awards - Weekly Practice Swimmer and EDETEF Meet Swimmer
Practice Swimmer of the Week Award is for the swimmer in each group who:
Shows Up – good attendance and pays attention
Honors the team with their EFFORT – listens, follows instructions, and tries hard
Does It Right – does what was asked as well as they can
On Monday of each week a swimmer is recognized for their prior week practices by their respective coach. It should be noted some weeks there may not be a recognition award presented as no swimmer “rose to the occasion”. The recognized swimmer is presented with a special cap with an Olympic Swimmers name on it, to wear for the week.

Every Dive Every Turn Every Finish (EDETEF) Swimmer of the Meet Award is for the swimmer in each group who has the best dives, turns, and finishes at the swim meet. These swimmers are recognized by their coaches with a medal the first practice after the meet. It should be noted there may not be an EDETEF recognition award given out each meet if no one swimmer “stood out” for their starts, turns and finishes.
