On Tuesday, June 13, the Sewanee Tigersharks swimmers traveled to Tullahoma to take on the Tullahoma Swim Club (TSC). The Tigersharks were victorious over TSC by a combined score of 339 to 241.

Many Tigershark swimmers swept the events in their age groups with three individual first place finishes including: Sarah Grace Burns (14) in the 13-14 Girls 50 M Freestyle, 50 M Breaststroke, and 100 M Individual Medley; David Dolack (12) in the 11-12 Boys’ 50 M Freestyle, 50 M Breaststroke, and 50 M Backstroke; Loulie Frazier (9) in the 9-10 Girls’ 50 M Freestyle, 100 M Individual Medley, and 25 M Butterfly; Konrad Knoll (6) in the 6 & U Boys’ 25 M Freestyle, 25 M Backstroke, and 8 & U 100 M Individual Medley; Zolon Knoll (13) in the 13-14 Boys’ 50 M Freestyle, 100 M Individual Medley, and 50 M Breaststroke; and Owen Pearson (18) in the 15-18 Boys’ 50 M Freestyle, 100 M Individual Medley, and 50 M Backstroke.

In the relays, Tigershark teams took first place in the 8 & U Mixed Medley Relay (Konrad Knoll, Anara Summers, Sam Frazier, Sarah-Russell Roberson), 8 & U Boys’ Freestyle Relay (Konrad Knoll, Theo Michaels, Sam Frazier, Will Roberts), 9-10 Girls’ Freestyle Relay (Maya Mauzy, Sienna Barry, Stella Wilson, and Loulie Frazier), 13-14 Mixed Medley Relay (Sarah Grace Burns, Zolon Knoll, Porter Neubauer, Iliana Pate), 13-14 Girls’ Freestyle Relay (Iliana Pate, Cybil Eko, Jenna Black, and Sarah Grace Burns), 13-14 Boys’ Freestyle Relay (Zolon Knoll, Porter Neubauer, David Dolack, and Harrison Hartman), 15-18 Mixed Medley Relay (Owen Pearson, Sophia Hartman, Garrett Shaw, and Zoey Craft), and 15-18 Boys’ Freestyle Relay (Owen Pearson, Sam Smith, Aidan Smith, and Evan Fox).

Additional Tigershark swimmers taking at least one first place finish in an individual event in the meet include: Zoey Craft (15) in the 15-18 Girls’ 50 M Freestyle, Sam Frazier (7) in the 7-8 Boys’ 25 M Breaststroke and 25 M Butterfly, Sophia Hartman (16) in the 15-18 Girls’ 50 M Butterfly, Maya Mauzy (10) in the 9-10 Girls’ 25 M Backstroke, Porter Neubauer (14) in the 13-14 Boys’ 50 M Backstroke and 50 M Butterfly, Iliana Pate in the 13-14 Girls’ 50 M Backstroke, Sarah-Russell Roberson in the 7-8 Girls’ 25 M Butterfly, Aidan Smith (15) in the 15-18 Boys’ 50 M Butterfly, Sam Smith (18) in the 15-18 Boys’ 50 M Breaststroke, and Stella Wilson (9) in the 9-10 Girls’ 25 M Breaststroke.

Many swimmers dropped time in the meet, including 5 year old Jack Roberts with a 15.90 second drop on the 6 & U Boys’ 25 M Backstroke and 7 year old Adeline Pond with a 17.36 second drop on the 7-8 Girls’ 25 M Freestyle.
